Angel and her brother Caleb moved from Maine to attend George Washington University, where Angel was expected to be a star soccer player. Angel hoped to leave her past behind. Upon arrival, she met Michelle, a spunky pre-law student who grew up in Ireland, and her twin sister Shawna from Louisiana. Angel and Michelle became best friends.
