An ancient promise:

The prophecy, a promise of hope for all of humanity was made. It was a warning from days of old that was passed throughout the generations. They did not heed the warning.

Everything has changed and no one can save them. Alijah waits alone in the dark, dank forest frightened by the journey she must make. There's no turning back now, there's far too much to lose.
