Author Martha Reeder, a native Texan, grew up with a love for books, art, and children. The idea for OC: Cat in the Classroom was born over thirty years ago when she grew a plant from an avocado seed. The concept has been germinating since that time, and the process finally came to fruition about five years ago when she got together with a friend. Martha and her husband live in the Dallas area where they are involved in various literary projects.
