My name is Parker Manning. I'm currently an economics researcher for Purdue University Northwest, although I certainly have a soft spot for philosophy. I wrote "Catholic God, True God" because many of the common atheist objections still float around, unfortunately enough. On a similar note, many of the arguments for God that I find to be most persuasive are not talked about in Catholic circles. In my book, I discuss many arguments for God, including an advanced statistical analysis into the probability of life, objective morality, and the reliability of the Bible. I also have a rather long chapter on Church History and Protestantism, which has not been popular among Protestant circles (although, I have yet to see a legitimate response). Overall, this book would be great for someone interested in theistic apologetics and church history.
