FINDING LIGHT: One Man's Journey, Peace Through Poetry

Have you ever wondered if there is “light at the end of the tunnel”? Have you lost hope while going through a great stress in your life? The series of poems entitled Finding Light is written to encourage those who are dealing with mental stress, PTSD, or other life-altering situations. Through the Word of God, we are lead through our darkness to find the light and discover the hope we need. From fear, loss, and separation, we can find our rainbow marking the promise of God honor written in the sky. When you find the light in your darkness, as I have, you will want to bring it out and share it with everyone you meet. Jesus said in John 8:12 “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness.”

I share these words of a highly revered old hymn with you.

“The Love of God is greater far

Than tongue or pen can ever tell;

It goes beyond the greatest star,

And reaches to the lowest hell;”

Words: Fredrick M Lehman. 1917

V 3 by Rabbi Mayer, 1096

It is believed that words in this hymn were found ‘scratched on the wall of an asylum.’
