When God Got Personal

At birth, Mr. Jorgensen was not only premature but well under five pounds. With no one present other than two of his mother’s sisters, he was first thought to be a still born. He not only survived his birth, but a near drowning at age four, being orphaned at six, a fish hook in his right eye at eleven, combat duty (machine gunner) in Korea, and thirty years as a middle school teacher.

His religious belief is that God intervenes both in critical situations but also in far less important events in one’s life.

His memoir is his hope of encouraging others to determine if events in their life might be examples of divine intervention.
