The gospel does not change. Your Heart Matters communicates to children their need of a Savior. Through some of the commandments, children can see by illustrations that they have sinned against a Holy God and their hearts are not clean. Children need to know that God loves them, but they also need to know that because of sin, there are consequences. These consequences can only be erased through Christ's cleansing blood on the cross.
