Patsy Welch ministered at a homeless shelter in Dallas, Texas for almost ten years, working in the kitchen and providing chapel messages for the women there. This book is a product of those years. Through her own story and insights into God's Word, she was able to connect with these women who struggled with so many complex issues and found themselves in hopeless desperation. With humor and realness, she spoke to the problems they were experiencing with hope, joy, and encouragement.
